Beta glucan is a natural substance obtained from bread yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and it strengthens the immune system. It activates white blood cells such as macrophages, granulocytes, and monocytes responsible for defense against infections and supports the healing of damaged tissues in the body. It has antioxidant properties.

It is a dietary supplement ‘Generally Recognized as Safe’ (GRAS) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the USA. There is no reported toxicity. In order for Beta Glucan to bind easily to macrophage cells, the particle size should be small. Minimum 80% of Beta Glucan particle size in İmuneks Farma products is 10 microns or smaller.

Recommended intake is 1 spoon (5 ml) per day for children aged 4-10 and 2 spoons (10 ml) per day for adults. Shake the bottle before use.
